 Classes

Infants -

Enrollment in our center begins with children as young as 6 weeks old.  A babies first year is full of learning and reaching important developmental milestones; we're here to help your baby succeed in each step!  From tummy time to sitting up and crawling, from taking bottles to eating food.  Our babies take strolls in the  bye-bye buggy, listen to classical music, create their own art, socialize with each other, and learn about textures to mention a few!  There is no limit to what they will do!

Toddlers -

Children ages one and two learn about the world around them with the FunShine Express curriculum.  Focus is given to  physical, academic, and social/emotional development through two different themes each month.  Bible stories and songs are included in the daily routine even at this young age.  Sign language is taught as children begin to communicate.  Then language development blossoms as children begin to have conversations and their vocabulary grows.  Mathematic skills begin here with counting, recognizing shapes, and patterns.  Creativity and imaginations blossom too as we enjoy stories from the classics and tell some of our own.  There are a number of crafts that go along with the themes each month as well.

K3

Pathways for Preschool from BJUP is a well-balanced program for three year olds.  Preschoolers have lots of fun as they meet daily with their animal friends at the Big Red Barn. Each activity and concept in the program is research-based and developmentally appropriate. Interactive circle times help children learn, grow, and have fun!

Your preschooler will enjoy age-appropriate activities that encourage participation in every major area of learning—personal and social development, letter and number recognition, and motor skills development. Through the use of ideas, games, songs, and activities, this colorful preschool program will encourage creativity, keep your preschoolers’ interest, and instill an early love for learning.

Pre-K (K4)

Pre-K students enjoy the Footsteps for Fours  program from BJU Press.  Our focus is on mastering the basics.  Learning opportunities abound as students gather around the Teaching Tree with Max the dog and his animal friends. Young learners explore foundational math, phonics, and prereading skills with their teacher. Interactive lessons introduce music, science, language arts, social studies, and handwriting with intentional play to create a joyful and engaging experience.

Learners develop phonemic awareness with learning games and songs with Max’s friends, Sidney and Sophie the squirrels. Songs and stories introduce students to word families and high frequency words for reading readiness.

Intentional play gives students opportunities for social-emotional development, motor skill development, and development of their natural curiosity. Learning centers and group learning activities allow students to interact with each other and with their world so that they can learn through play. Independent activities and manipulatives give opportunities for hands-on learning and STEM introductions.

Daily lessons give opportunities to present a biblical worldview to young minds. Our teachers help students develop biblical perspectives on how they interact with each other, how they communicate, and how they apply the knowledge of God.
